Giant oak trees and cypresses protect
this country villa of ancient origins. The 2 story building has the
main living areas upstairs including the eat-in kitchen, 3 bedrooms
and 2 baths.
On the ground level are the storage
cantinas and a large bedroom suite with a bath and a service kitchen.
Double doors open out to the garden
with a delightful dining area shaded by grape vines and a fig tree. There's
another seating area with a large awning next to the building, and
lounge chairs at the lap pool which is filtered by a chemical
free system.
From the pool and garden you have
pleasant views west over soft rolling landscape. In the
distance you can see the famous skyline of San Gimignano.
The garden offers an abundance of
herbs for your favorite Tuscan recipes.
There's a second, smaller
house on the property owned by another member of the family. This
house is used during summer vacations only, in late June and early
August.
