Costa della Luna is a luxurious fully restored home with outdoor terraces, a well tended garden, infinity pool and panoramic views. Location is in southern Tuscany, not far from Montepulciano. The highlight of this haven of peace is the pool deck that allows you to embrace the spectacular waves of landscape scenery.
This private villa is surrounded by 3 hectares of olive trees and a large garden of cypresses, pines and the lush green lawns. Well-designed outdoor lighting brightens up the night.
The central part of the structure dates from the 16th century and then it was enlarged in 1789. The recent building works have helped it to rise up like a jewel from the landscaped hillside. The villa has several terraces on different levels where you can relax and dine with views of the surrounding countryside.
The infinity pool is close to home and cleverly designed to be an autonomous space through its multi-functional bar with an automatic ice dispenser. There’s an easily accessible basement to store the cushions and deck chairs. For sport, you’ll have fun with the Boules court adjacent to the pool.
From the total of 5 bedrooms, 2 are in the top floor, 1 is on the middle floor, and 2 are on the lower ground floor. 4 bedrooms have wider than queen size (63 inches wide) beds that can also be made into 2 large single beds. The semiprivate bedroom on ground floor has a regular double bed (55 inches wide). On request, the extra children’s room has 4 bunk beds.
From the 4 bathrooms, 2 have both a bathtub and a shower, and 2 have only a shower, while a shower and sink are adjacent to the children’s room.
After the recent remodeling, the villa is endowed with a large kitchen installed with professional equipment on the ground floor. It is convenient to have meals either inside at the wide kitchen table, or on the adjoining terrace. A second smaller kitchen with all facilities remains on the middle floor overlooking another dining room that opens to a terrace with lovely views. Many guests like to enjoy their breakfast on this terrace. And guests can also gather in the TV lounge.
Another terrace adjoining the master bedroom and with indirect access to the kitchen can be used for dinners overlooking the garden. All terraces at night have a view of the beautiful ancient trees in the garden – illuminated for a magical effect.
This centuries old country villa is centrally located in the beautiful rolling hills near the town of Cetona in south-eastern Tuscany. From here you will enjoy a full panoramic view over the Val di Chiana and the Cetona Mountain.
