Serving classic Tuscan home-cooked meals on the north side of the village in Chiusure, with decent portions of inexpensive tasty food. Bring everyone with you, this is a great place for kids, too! 4 people can eat well for as little as 60 euros total, and the rustic pizza is superb.
Why we love this Pizzeria
My usual meal here is sharing the Antipasto Goloso with Gary and then each of us has a pizza. My current favorite is the Pizza Pazza. The antipasto platters are brimming with tasty bites and are easily shared with 2 or more people. Then you can have a pizza or a bowl of pasta, or any meat course for the main. Sharing us okay. The mixed grill of pork is good, as are the pastas for those who are already tired of pizza. Adriana is the owner and rules over the kitchen, but you are most likely to meet and fall in love with the charismatic Giovanna. We admire how deftly she directs traffic to tables, takes and brings multiple orders, and gives everyone a big smile. Full disclosure: we live in this village!
Tips on wine, beer, and utensils
I want to give you a tip: hold onto your fork and knife. You wont get new ones for every dish at these prices! Order wine by the half liter or the full liter carafe and try the new artisan beers …. pizza is still best with beer, even in Italy.
