San Francesco is located on a hill
surrounded by open farmland and beautiful countryside 2km from the village of Palazone in
the southeast corner of Tuscany, close to the Umbrian border. The location is
excellent for touring in central
Italy; you can easily make daytrips to Siena, Florence, San
Gimignano, Arezzo, Cortona, Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto and even Rome. The
closest Autostrada exit is only 10 minute drive away.

San Francesco was fully remodeled and
modernized in the late 1990's.
The 2 buildings are about 50 meters
apart, there's plenty of
space, ample parking for several cars, and panoramic views.
Planted around the buildings are a few cypresses
and
umbrella pines to provide shade, there's also an orchard and a kitchen garden.
The large swimming pool is shared by the two houses.

On this property is also a storage
building for the farming operation, normally used only briefly at
harvest time in the fall.
