From the famous “La Pergola” restaurant in Rome, we are delighted to have the Michelin starred chef Heinz Beck open his “Seasons” at Castello di Fighine in southern Tuscany. You’ll find it just 15 minutes from the Fabro exit off the A1 Autostrada.
Castello di Fighine is an imposing 11th century castle remodeled into a private home over the past 15 years. A two minute walk from the Castle brings you to the restaurant. Sitting 650 meters above sea level, the Castle is worth a visit even for its panoramic views over Southern Tuscany alone.
Managed by Heinz Beck with Gianluca Renzi as head chef, the restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine and features home-made Tuscan pasta with locally sourced ingredients.
Inside the restaurant is handsomely furnished., but outside under the large wisteria covered pergola is a most beautiful place to sit and enjoy either a simple plate of fresh pasta or a gourmet/tasting menu. The wine list features a number of the spectacular Super Tuscan wines beside the many locally produced wines of excellent quality.
The restaurant is open from Friday 31st March 2017 to Wednesday 1st November 2017.
