Welcome to Iperbole and its magical setting ruling over the Orcia Valley. At the size of 800 sq.meters = 9,000 sq. ft., this is a very large villa! It was restored just a few years ago combining traditional materials, such as old terracotta for the floors and oak beams for the ceilings then decorated with attractive vintage furniture and contemporary art works. The result is an intriguing and informal, comfortable family home in a place of peace and quiet. The thick insulated walls and the ventilated roof keep the building naturally cool during hot summer months with no need of air conditioning. All kitchenware is highly professional and make the preparation of meals a real pleasure. Ground floor rooms have French doors leading to the garden and patio. The rate is € 1,250 per night with 3 night minimum stay.

Outside Iperbole in Tuscany

Under the covered pergola is a massive wooden table that seats comfortably 20 people facing the lawn with the spectacular vista over the Orcia Valley nature park. Across the lawn you’ll find the vegetable garden of seasonal flowers and organic vegetables that are at guest’s disposal. This is a great vacation villa for a large family group offering a ping pong table, a football table, two mountain bikes and two racers. And lot’s of toys for children up to six years old. The large infinity pool was just completed in 2016.

The owner speaks fluent English, she lives close by and is happy to be available during your stay for any kind of assistance, extra information, requests etc. Children are most welcome. The owner provides cots and cribs, high chairs, strollers and lots of toys.

Location of Villa Iperbole in Val d’Orcia in a protected area of the valley is an ideal place for walking , cycling and sight seeing in the many beautiful places that can be visited at a short distance. Although Villa Iperbole is very secluded, the towns of Monticchiello, Pienza and Montepulciano are easily reached by car for restaurants and shopping. This part of Tuscany is famous for its beautiful medieval towns, art treasures and thermal springs. It is also the area where the famous wines of Brunello di Montalcino and Nobile di Montepulciano are produced. You might also recognize this area from the many movies made here.

Other interesting sites nearby include Montalcino, Città della Pieve, the Trasimeno Lake, San Quirico d’Orcia and Bagno Vignoni.

The nearest train station Chiusi- Chianciano Terme is at 40 min. drive
The highway closest exit is also named Chiusi- Chianciano Terme at 30 min. drive.
