The spectacular setting of Villa Cocceto (sleeps 12) in Tuscany’s Orcia valley takes in 500 acres of farm land, woods and vineyards. In the 18th century when it was built, Cocceto was a modest sharecropping farmhouse; today it’s reborn as a grand country residence surrounded by a well-known estate producing Super Tuscan wines. Location of Coccetto at Trinoro Estate is settled between high mountains, award-winning vineyards and the glorious expanse of blue Tuscan sky. Over the hill is the town of Sarteano, convenient for shops, cafes and restaurants. Also close by is the medieval hilltop town of bustling Montepulciano with its famous Vino Nobile wine. Pienza with the pope’s palace and other spectacular architecture is just a short drive away. And finally, Montalcino occupies the top of a mountain in the heart of the extensive Brunello wine district.

Set in the midst of Trinoro’s 500 acre award winning wine estate, the property features a superb 17 x 7 meter heated infinity pool and 2 acres of gardens. Extensive lawns and manicured landscape  extend to the very vineyards that make the estate so famous. The villa’s own vegetable garden supplies the house with delicious, seasonal and fresh produce. The outdoor dining patio reaches out to the spectacular scenery and seats up to 14 people making this a wonderful setting for memorable evenings.

The cool colors, exquisite fabrics and art works are the signature of renowned Italian designer Ilaria Miani. She creates classic combinations of rustic features with modern design that work rather well to create the superb atmosphere of a modern country home. In addition there are two very comfortable sitting rooms, a dining area that can seat as many as 20 guests and a superbly well-equipped kitchen. The whole house is air-conditioned and also provides heating for those wanting to experience this amazing part of the world off season. Nothing has been forgotten, amenities you find go from high speed Wi-Fi to hairdryers in all the bathrooms. Other gadgets include Satellite TV, a PC computer and also a printer for guests use. The villa even comes with its own GPS device to help you better explore the Orcia Valley.

All 6 bedrooms are large and well furnished, with 2 on the ground floor and 4 upstairs. The master bedroom on the ground floor has its own sitting area and a huge bathroom, complete with a shower and a free-standing tub. One bedroom has twin beds, while all other bedrooms come with king size beds. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom and dressing area. The villa furthermore accommodates additional children and infants on request.

Villa Cocceto Rental Includes
Into the price of your rental, the owner has included daily housekeeping, 2 linen changes per week, a daily buffet breakfast and also garden and pool maintenance. There is an extremely competent English-speaking concierge on call for the guests, and her team will be happy to take you on a tour of the estate. Daily maid service for 3 hours per day from Monday to Saturday, for general cleaning and bed making, also bath linen changing mid week (Wednesday).

Meals cooked by Chef Antonella
An excellent chef is available for those looking for delicious home-made meals at the villa. Lunch and dinner costs € 45 per person; special dinner with fish or bbq option has the costs of 55 € per person (wines are extra). Menus are suggested by Chef Antonella every day depending on villa’s own garden’s fresh produce. Children aged 4 to 10 years old pay half price and meals for children under 4 are free.
